Mr Allan Dick, the proprietor of Florida Fractional Deals, required a simple one page website plus advice on how to make it impress visitors, but on a very small budget.

Chinese Website Content for Local Coach Company
St Margarets Coach Hire of Stansted Abbotts has had their website marketed by Toucan Internet LLP and the marketing reports that came back showed a large number of visitors from mainland China.
Keen to capitalise on this, St Margarets chose to include an additional Home Page on their site in Chinese as written and proofed by Toucan Internet’s translators.

Smile & Wellbeing in Bishop’s Stortford was Toucan’s first success when charged with getting the site favoured by Google with top search terms “Dentist in Herts” and “Dentist in Bishops Stortford”. Entrepreneurial dentist Dr Bhavin Bhatt said “We had a lovely site that projected our practice well, but until we handed control of the website to Toucan, nobody was visiting. Since Toucan optimised the site we have a steady stream of visitors and new clients, primarily from these search terms. We are pleased with the results and as such have referred Toucan to other colleagues looking for good web partners”.

Hook Lane Dental Practice logo developed by Toucan Internet
One such referral was Dr Kieron Khoorbhoor of Hook Lane Dental in Welling, Kent. This was a new practice and Toucan was pleased to get involved at an early stage and provide creative designs for the practice logo, business stationery, referral forms, and of course a rather unique website including a video of the practice.

Most businesses want to hang onto their cash and investigate what gives them the best bang for their buck; something we should all be doing all of the time, but brought into focus as the recession squeezes our cash.
Nothing could emphasis this more when we see the upturn in investment by businesses that have analysed their ROI’s and have woken up to the fact that the Net is in many cases the quickest, cheapest and most effective route to market and has been either ignored or played with without serious intent in the past. Many clients have realigned budgets, giving significantly less or no spend for space advertising and sales people in favour of online marketing.
For example it is possible to build an administrative system that will run all the courses for a national swim school for £5,000. David Cartwright, MD of the Cartwrights Swim School said “It was a big leap of faith for us to move from traditional paper based systems. We knew it would be the quickest way to communicate with the hundreds of clients we have on courses all around the country and would also be the automated administrative centre.”
It’s a fairly simple job to identify from where best business rewards will come when reviewing a business m.o. and their current marketing. Don’t subscribe to the philosophy that if it’s simple it doesn’t work.
Pat Fox, MD of Aralia Garden Design, noted: “Over a couple of weeks this summer, our site generated three orders totalling £63,000.”

Chartered Surveyors & Architects celebrate 30 years in business
Having achieved 30 years of successful business, both locally and nationally, Wilby & Burnett decided to review and update the company branding. Foremost in the minds of the partners was how to formulate an updated public image whilst remaining true to their existing and very successful branding. This new image was used in everything that meets and greets their clients including evolving the company logo, redesigning the stationery and of course establishing the practice website.

Once concluded the website design was addressed and, in a few “stepping stone” design concepts, a design was conceived that was true to the established branding. Safe as Houses with Absentia

When Moira Hampton JP of Absentia was looking to enhance the business’ website she asked their local IT support company Systematic Business Solutions. Systematic use Toucan Internet LLP for all their website related projects and were swift to recommend Toucan again for Absentia’s website.
Once engaged on the project, Toucan Internet started the website creative design, optimisation and site development to Moira’s brief. As Absentia’s services are geared to providing House and Pet sitting services to clients in the UK and aboard, the site had to emphasise the diligence and honesty of the sitters that their clients expect when putting their pets and property in the care of ‘strangers’. Leading Barristers’ Chambers chooses web partner

9-12 Bell Yard is a leading criminal barristers’ chambers in the City and they chose Toucan Internet as their web designers earlier this year. Apart from the main web projects, Toucan’s creative design team has been engaged in producing a number of items in various media for Chambers, including email campaigns, digital Christmas cards and a hand drawn website.
The annual Chambers’ party aboard HMS Belfast was a real success and Toucan designed and produced the impressive corporate folders together with the event invitations for the night. These designs were based upon a newly evolved logo icon taken from designs that had been created as part of the development work for the Chambers’ new website.
A Chambers’ spokesman said “We are delighted with the creativity and support Toucan has brought to every project they have worked on so far.”
The folder and modified logo are designed to give great value in that they can be used on more than just one occasion. The generic chambers folder will double as a CD presentation folder for distribution of material such as course notes, whilst the modified dynamic glass effect logo will feature in the forthcoming website.
